1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LOCKIN at www.adhdlockin.com (the "Service"), operated by THINQ Design, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

LOCKIN is an academic planning and study management application designed to help high school and college students organize courses, assignments, study schedules, and deadlines. The Service includes AI-powered study recommendations, calendar management, and optional SMS notifications.

3. Accounts

  • You must sign in with a valid Google account to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. Users under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian register through the Family plan, who thereby consents to the minor's use of the Service.

4. SMS Notifications

By verifying your phone number and enabling SMS notifications, you consent to receive automated text messages from LOCKIN related to your academic schedule, including:

  • Morning study priority summaries
  • Evening check-in prompts
  • Assignment and exam deadline warnings
  • Study streak reminders

Message frequency varies based on your schedule and notification preferences (typically 2–4 messages per day). Message and data rates may apply.

To opt out: Reply STOP to any message or disable SMS notifications in your account settings at any time. Reply HELP for assistance or contact bo@thinqdifferent.com.

SMS notifications are provided through Twilio. Your phone number will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for more details on data handling.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Share your account with others or create multiple accounts
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to exploit the Service

6. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate study schedules, recommendations, and academic insights. This content is provided for informational and planning purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated recommendations. You are responsible for verifying important academic deadlines and requirements with your institution.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and features, is owned by THINQ Design, LLC. You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Service (syllabi, notes, etc.). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process it for the purpose of providing the Service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ACADEMIC OUTCOMES BASED ON USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THINQ DESIGN, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE, OR MISSED DEADLINES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to the Service or other users. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
